Praxonomy Secures Supplier Status on the UK Government's G-Cloud 11

Hong Kong, July 3, 2019 - Praxonomy has been awarded a place on the UK Government's G-Cloud framework agreement. Designed to facilitate the procurement of cloud services by the public sector, this arrangement will allow Praxonomy's secure and easy to use board portal to be accessible by public sector bodies on the Digital Marketplace – the online platform that G-Cloud approved services are searched for and procured.

The Praxonomy board portal helps boards and committees of public sector organisations to run better meetings. With features that enable more efficient meeting administration, real-time board papers distribution, better records management and more meaningful collaboration, Praxonomy drives efficiency and good governance in public sector boards while helping them save time and taxpayer's money. Furthermore, Praxonomy's ISO 27001-certified security implementation can keep sensitive government work secure and protected at all times.

The G-Cloud, first began in 2012, is an initiative by the UK Government targeted at simplifying and easing procurement of IT and cloud services for government-funded public sector organisations. The arrangement consists of a framework agreement between suppliers from which the public sector organisations can purchase services without needing to go through a full tender or competition procurement process.

Suppliers must meet a set of stringent requirements to be accepted onto the G-Cloud framework, which has seen total sales of over five billion pounds to date, with 1.7 billion pounds just in 2018 alone.
