Job Description
Praxonomy is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join our fast-growing business as the Senior Information Technology and Development Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the technical development of a highly secure enterprise-grade SaaS and mobile application. He/she will manage the development team and drive product initiatives.
Responsibility
Report to the Chief Technology Officer
Oversee the development team (web development and mobile team), QA team and product team
Define technology roadmap and ensure delivery according to company standards
Provide technical direction to build a highly scalable application suite
Ensure the quality and security of the deliverables conform to company standards
Formulate security and technology standards
Liaise with different stakeholders (technical and non-technical) across multiple business unit and management
Comply with the company’s quality and information security management system requirements.
Essential Skills & Experiences
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Proven experience managing and developing technical teams
Minimum 8 years of solid technical experience and 5 years in a leadership role
Deep understanding of Java and associated distributed system architecture: e.g., micro-services
Experienced developing and manage secure level application frameworks
Self-motivated, result oriented, meticulous and able to work under pressure
Desirable Skills & Experiences
Experience in managing outsource/offshore team
Hands-on experience with Java, Node.js, Redis, Docker, Web and Mobile development
